The Spring Book Fair Starts Monday!
The Scholastic Book Fair is back! Students will be visiting the fair with their classes during school hours. Choosing their own books inspires students to become lifelong readers. Weather permitting, the Book Fair will be set up on the blacktop by the Whittier Garden for you to shop after school, too! Every item purchased benefits our school.
Be sure to have your students’ e-wallets filled so they can participate!
We need you to make our Scholastic Book Fair a success!
Please consider signing up to set up the fair or help at the register. Shifts overlap so there is always someone to help you get up to speed.

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week!
May 6 - 10 is Teacher Appreciation Week, and we want to let our Whittier teachers and staff know that they are out of this world!
The PTO has a week full of special surprises, treats, and gratitude planned. Be sure to look out for class gift information from your classroom liaisons.
Coffee on the Blacktop Returns!
Let us fill your cup. Bring your own, or grab one from us!
Stay a while after dropoff on Thursday, May 2 and treat yourself to complimentary coffee and conversation with your Whittier community.
And, as a bonus, you can shop the Scholastic Book fair while you sip!
Important Yearbook Info: Custom Pages
If you ordered a yearbook, it includes two free custom pages for you to create.
Log in to your Treering Account to make them, but do it fast because they must be submitted by this Saturday, May 4th in order to be included. See the flyer for more information.

Join Oak Park and River Forest High School for an exciting day featuring the legendary alumni band The Jade 50's, a variety of food trucks, face painting, bounce houses, and numerous other family-friendly activities.
It’s all happening on the Mall on the west side of OPRF, where you’ll also have the chance to take a lap on the new track! Don’t miss out on the fun!

As we wrap up the year, let's celebrate! We’ll kick of the celebration with a performance by The PTO dance team at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Then, PTO will provide dinner for you and the family at 6:45 p.m. Finally, we we will present our 2024-2025 PTO budget for you to vote on, plus a look back at an amazing year!
