Teams are made up of 8 people. Get a group of 8 together and sign up as a team or sign up individually or sign up as a couple or with friends and we’ll match you up to be a full team of 8. This event is for 21+ and is sure to be a fun evening!

As morning anchor and local host of Morning Edition, Lisa hosts local news from Chicago on NPR’s morning news program. Lisa joined the staff of WBEZ in January 1999 as a reporter for Morning Edition.
Lisa resides in Oak Park with her husband, Christopher.

The First Annual Whittier PTO Trivia Night was a great success. With over 130 people in attendance, the PTO was able to raise over $8000!!

Q: Is it true that Lisa Labuz from WBEZ will be the emcee at Whittier’s Trivia Night?
Q: Will teachers and staff be at the event?
Q: Will there be food?
A: We will have some snacks and dessert items, which are included in your ticket price.
Q: Are drinks included in the price of admission?
A: No, we will have a cash bar which will include beer, wine, and more. Drink tickets cost $5 a piece.
Q: How do I buy a ticket?
A: Online: Go to www.whittierpto.org (Tickets are $25 plus a $2.37 processing fee). By check: Go to www.whittierpto.org to print the ticket order form. Attach it to a check made out to “Whittier PTO” and place it in a sealed envelope marked “TRIVIA NIGHT.” Envelopes can be turned in to your child’s teacher or at the front office. At the door: Ticket prices increase to $30 at the door. We strongly encourage you to buy your tickets in advance.
Q: I’d like to go, but I prefer not to play. May I still buy a ticket and come?
A: Absolutely! You might also consider volunteering for a part of the night; if you volunteer during Trivia Time, you do not even need to buy a ticket.
Q: How can I volunteer?

Q: Tell me about the Live Auction?
A: The Live Auction will be brief, with FOUR big ticket items up for grabs.
Q: Will there also be the Spring Auction this year?
A: Not exactly. We won’t be having a separate auction event this year. Instead, the Spring Auction will occur during the Fun Fair this year, so that more families have the chance to participate. All your favorite silent auction items will be available at the Fun Fair.

The 2015 Fun Run was a great success all around, raising almost $16,000 for the Whittier PTO which will go a long way to helping support Whittier! Because the goals were met, all the kids will get to celebrate with Crazy Hair Day and the top fundraisers get to have a Limousine Lunch with Principal Warner.
But not only was it a fantastic fundraiser, it was also a blast for the kids who had a great time staying active while raising money for their school.
Whittier is participating in a healthy, creative fundraiser with Art to Remember. Right now, children are busy creating colorful, fun artwork and soon you will receive a personalized order form showcasing your son’s or daughter’s artwork.

One of the year’s biggest fundraisers has launched! The Fun Run is held during school on October 7th and is a great way to raise money and promote fitness.
Whittier PTO raises money for programs that enrich our kids’ school experience. An all-volunteer 501(c)3 organization, the PTO supports academics (70%+ of funds), community building and technology and playground purchases. More than 90% of each dollar raised goes straight back to PTO programs.
The PTO has teamed up with The Get Movin’ Crew to help manage donations for the Fun Run
Please help us by helping your child reach the goal of $50 in pledges. Pledges are a flat donation, not a per lap amount.
Just by asking 5 people for $10 – the goal will be reached! Nothing to sell or deliver!
