Welcome to the Whittier PTO!

Volunteers Needed for the Whittier Spring Book Fair!
The legendary Book Fair is in two weeks but we cannot do it with you!  Please take a moment to find a volunteer slot that works for you.  This is a fun and easy way to help the school and watch the kiddos get excited about reading.  Our school receives 55% of the sales from the Fair!  Please support this valuable fundraiser by pitching in for an hour or two.  You will see on the Sign Up that in addition to the normal Book Fair hours, Fair set up and Fair clean up, there is a Teacher Preview day that could use some extra hands and some snack donations.  Anything you can do is welcome.  Signup herehttp://signup.com/go/CWrGbsq
Finally, if you need to bring your kids, NO PROBLEM!  Kids LOVE to help out at the Fair, too.

Save the Date for Whittier’s Fun Fair: Saturday, March 2nd, 11 AM – 3 PM
This is an annual tradition that is fun for the whole family.  There are carnival games, a teacher raffle, a cake walk, a silent auction, delicious food and smoothies and prizes, prizes, prizes!  Please watch your child’s folders, the Tuesday Packet, email and our Whittier PTO Facebook page for regular updates, ticket sale information and volunteer needs.  This is our heaviest volunteer event of the year.  We will be needing parents to help serve food, make smoothies, work the ticket booth and most importantly, work the carnival games!  We will also need volunteers to bake or purchase cakes for our cake walk.  Mark your calendars for March 2nd!
